Pikachu is all dressed up for the colder days! All four Warm Pikachu promo cards from the 2014 UNIQLO collaboration have arrived at Pokemon Card Japan.
Known in Japanese as “Attaka Pikachu,” these cards show Pikachu enjoying winter in four different outfits and settings. From playing outside in the snow to staying cozy indoors, each illustration has its own lovely little story.
A Look Back at the UNIQLO Collaboration
These Japanese promo cards were originally distributed with purchases of eligible Pokémon HEATTECH clothing at UNIQLO in Japan in December 2014. Customers received one of four designs, making the card inside a little surprise.
Warm clothes and a warmly dressed Pikachu — such a sweet match for a winter collaboration! Even years later, these illustrations are a pleasure to look at, especially as the weather turns chilly again.
Meet the Four Warm Pikachu Cards
- Warm Pikachu 094/XY-P — An orange outfit and a checked scarf bring a cheerful splash of color to a snowy outdoor scene.
- Warm Pikachu 095/XY-P — Wrapped up in a blue coat and a bright scarf, Pikachu looks ready for a fun day in the snow, with a snowman nearby.
- Warm Pikachu 096/XY-P — A padded blue coat, earmuffs, and twinkling lights give this winter evening scene a wonderfully cozy feeling.
- Warm Pikachu 097/XY-P — Wearing a pink outfit beside a window overlooking the snow, Pikachu enjoys a quieter moment indoors.
