A Special Pikachu & Raichu Pair ⚡
This week, we are featuring Pikachu 001/XY-P and Raichu 002/XY-P, two Japanese promo cards distributed through Pokémon Card Game Classroom events.
What makes this pair especially interesting is how collectors originally received them.
First Pikachu, Then Raichu
At the 2013 classroom events, participants first received Pikachu 001/XY-P. By bringing that Pikachu card and participating again, they could then receive Raichu 002/XY-P.

It is almost like Pikachu “evolved” into Raichu through the event. 💛 Participation conditions varied depending on the event, but this two-step distribution makes the matching promos especially charming.
